Playbook ONE Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, registering a player, accepting a scorekeeper or admin role, or otherwise using the Playbook ONE web dashboard, League Owner Portal, Player App, or Scorekeeper App (together, the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you're accepting on behalf of a minor as a parent/guardian, or on behalf of a league/organization, you're agreeing on their behalf and representing that you have the authority to do so.
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Playbook ONE is a flag football league management and statistics tracking platform. Depending on your role, it lets you: manage leagues, seasons, teams, and rosters; run live scorekeeping; view and track player and team statistics; process league/season registration payments; and upload/view game video.
3. Eligibility & Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create your own Playbook ONE account. Players under 18 are registered by a parent, guardian, or their league's administrator - see Privacy Policy Section 5.
- You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us immediately at hello@playbookone.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
- League Owner Portal access uses league-specific access codes. League owners are responsible for safeguarding their access code and for who they share it with.
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
4. Roles & Responsibilities
- Players can view their own profile, team, schedule, and stats, and dispute stats they believe are wrong via a correction request.
- Scorekeepers enter live game data (manually or via the voice-assisted feature) and are responsible for reviewing and confirming what gets recorded before it's finalized - including AI-parsed voice input, which is a suggestion for the scorekeeper to confirm, edit, or reject, not an automatic record.
- League Admins / Owners manage their league's teams, rosters, seasons, and (for owners) registration and payment collection. League owners are responsible for the accuracy of roster data they or their staff enter, and for having proper consent to register each player - including parental consent for minors.

5. Fees & Payment
- Some leagues charge registration or season fees through the Service, processed by Stripe. By registering for a paid season, you authorize the charge shown at checkout.
- Fees are set by the league, not by Blue Liquid Tech, unless stated otherwise. Refund policies are set by the league organizer; contact your league owner for refund requests.
- Blue Liquid Tech is not responsible for a league's failure to deliver the season, games, or refunds it promised - our role is providing the platform, not operating your league.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Enter false, defamatory, or fraudulent stats, roster data, or scores;
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users (players, scorekeepers, admins, or opponents);
- Attempt to access another user's account, another league's data, or any part of the Service you're not authorized to access;
- Upload video or content you don't have the right to share, or that violates another person's privacy or rights;
- Interfere with, reverse-engineer, or attempt to disrupt the Service;
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
7. User Content & Video
You retain ownership of content you upload (e.g., game video, profile info). By uploading it, you grant Blue Liquid Tech a limited license to host, store, process, and display it as needed to operate the Service (e.g., streaming game video back to your league via Cloudflare Stream). You're responsible for having the right to upload it, including consent from anyone identifiable in game footage, consistent with your league's own policies.
8. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and the "Playbook ONE" name and branding, is owned by Blue Liquid Tech LLC. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our IP beyond what's needed to use the Service as intended.
9. Third-Party Services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Supabase (database/auth/storage), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (video), Anthropic (AI parsing of voice input), Railway (hosting), and Expo/EAS (mobile app delivery). We're not responsible for outages or issues originating from these providers, though we'll work to resolve their impact on you.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T GUARANTEE THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT STATS, AI-PARSED PLAY DATA, OR SCORES WILL ALWAYS BE ACCURATE - THAT'S WHY WE BUILT A CORRECTION-REQUEST PROCESS.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BLUE LIQUID TECH LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU (OR YOUR LEAGUE, IF APPLICABLE) PAID BLUE LIQUID TECH IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE, OR $100 IF YOU PAID NOTHING.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Blue Liquid Tech LLC harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or content you upload - including, for league owners, a failure to obtain proper consent for players (especially minors) whose data you enter into the platform.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if we discontinue the Service or a league's use of it. You may stop using the Service at any time; contact us to close your account.
14. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you consent to jurisdiction there.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. We'll update the effective date above and, for material changes, provide reasonable notice before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.
